Walt Stieg is president and CEO of Stieg & Associates. He started his career in transportation insurance in January 1975. His core duties continue in the sales, service, and safety areas of transportation industry, in addition to those duties he has served on Great West Casualty's National Agents Council since its inception. He is past President of the Billings Family YMCA and still serves as a Board of Director. Walt is also a past President of the Montana Motor Carriers Association and currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors. Walt is married to Kathy and they have three sons. Kent F. Dreessen....Vice President/Corporate Manager. Kent joined the Stieg & Associates team in March 1994.  Previous to this, he was employed at Great West Casualty Company for six years as a Commercial Transportation Underwriter.  His primary roles at the agency are those of corporate manager of the offices, as well as the areas of underwriting.  Kent has been on the transportation side of insurance since May 1988.  He is a licensed Property, Casualty and Surety agent as well as Life, Health and Disability.  Kent holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota as well as the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).  Kent is married to Stacy and has a daughter named Jordan, and a son named Justin. Pete Ridgeway...In 1993, Stieg & Associates Insurance, Inc. purchased the transportation business of Western States Insurance Agency. Pete was hired to manage the Missoula office and serve as it's producer.  He began his insurance career in 1968 and has held a property/casualty license since 1972.  Pete maintains licenses in the states of Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington and also received his professional designations in 1983.  A resident of Nebraska while living at home he attended High School in Omaha and the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.  Currently he is serving the Missoula Chapter of the Safety Management Council as it's leader.  He is married to Cindy and they have three grown children Chris, Pam and Brad who have seven children themselves.
